Book Award
The WCLA actively participates in the Wellesley College Book Award program, honoring promising students in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
The Book Award program recognizes students--many of whom may not have otherwise known about Wellesley--for their academic leadership and personal contributions to their schools and communities.
The Book: A Wellesley College edition of The Norton Book of Women’s Lives, a collection of twentieth century literature of women's lives, including autobiographies, journals, memoirs. A celebration of life itself. Sponsor names appear on the book plate, and sponsors have the opportunity to write a note to the awardee.
